The story
Coko (CHO-co) is a well-known coffee washing station in the Gakenke District. It is managed by the Twongerekawa Coko cooperative, made up of mostly women. What makes this coffee so special is the unusually high altitude (2000+ masl) at which the beans grow. As a result, they ripen slowly and have a wonderfully sweet taste with hints of ripe citrus fruits.

The popularity of Coco coffee has grown enormously among European coffee roasters in recent years. This has led to a 40% increase in sales since 2014!

The coffee is organically produced.

Heerlijk!

Very nice coffee

It tastes really good. I am using v60 and 20gr coffee to 260 gr water and getting both intensity and flavor. I tried Hario switch for a few times but couldn't optimize the recipe yet.

Thanks for sharing this recipe!
