The story

Decaf coffee used to be just super bad. The opinions about decaffeinated coffee are therefore not very positive either. But times change… At the time, this was largely due to the fact that the green coffee used for this process was of poor quality. For example, very old and cheap coffee was often used. Fortunately, we now know better. There are several known methods for decaffeinating a coffee bean. First of all, it is useful to know that the coffee bean grows as it normally does. Caffeine is therefore not released in the plant, but is a (in this case natural) processing afterwards.

I always had a negative image about decaf coffee, like that it would be a somewhat fake. But this Decaf from Brasil tastes just like a 'regular' cup of coffee. Nice and full and also with the fruitiness that I often find in specialty coffee!

Heerlijke koffie

Wegens gezondheidsredenen is cafeïne niet aan te raden, dus stapte ik over op cafeïnevrije koffie. De smaak …, het wende wel, maar lekker vond ik het niet. En de chemie die eraan te pas komt om de “gangbare” koffie cafeïnevrij te maken, bevalt mij niet.
Op internet gezocht naar betere alternatieven en kwam bij jullie uit. Wat een leuke website en geweldige keuze! Jullie liefde voor koffie straalt er echt vanaf!
Toen ik het pakket openmaakte werd ik al helemaal blij van de heerlijke koffiegeur die me tegemoet kwam. Ook van de verpakking met jullie persoonlijke noot erop, en dat ik kon lezen dat de bonen gemalen waren op de dag dat ik bij jullie had besteld, maakte mij blij.
Sindsdien geniet ik iedere dag van de heerlijk geurende, zachte en ook volle smaak van de Decaf Brasil 😃

Great coffee!

Didn't know what to expect from a decaf coffee but this one is great! You can't tell the difference in taste and the espresso comes out good as well. It's nice if you don't want too much caffeine in a day so I'll keep getting this.
