The story

On the slopes of Finca Las Camelias, located in the picturesque La Libertad district of Huehuetenango, grows El Panal—a coffee distinguished by its character and origins. This coffee, composed of varieties such as Caturra, Catuai, and Bourbon, undergoes a unique anaerobic fermentation process that creates a distinct flavor profile.

Behind El Panal is Juan José Ariano, a dedicated producer with roots in the coffee industry since 1958. With his sons at his side, the family tradition continues with passion.

At an altitude of 1,790 meters, the coffee is carefully harvested and dried by hand. From plant to cup, every detail is carefully considered—making El Panal not only a flavorful coffee but also a story of generations of craftsmanship.
