"No Buzz, Zero Difference"? That's what you can expect from the Decaf - El Dragón. A super complex coffee with a great flavor profile of cherries, caramel and milk chocolate.

We roasted this coffee as omni-roast which makes it really good in your espresso but also as filter coffee. Maybe it's the Sugarcane Decaf method, but wow what a sweetness.

When we first tasted this coffee blind we could not taste any difference with a coffee that does contain caffeine. You have to taste this.

Ideal as after dinner coffee.

The story

Decaf coffee used to be just super bad. The opinions about decaffeinated coffee are therefore not very positive either. But times change… At the time, this was largely due to the fact that the green coffee used for this process was of poor quality. For example, very old and cheap coffee was often used. Fortunately, we now know better. There are several known methods for decaffeinating a coffee bean. First of all, it is useful to know that the coffee bean grows as it normally does. Caffeine is therefore not released in the plant, but is a (in this case natural) processing afterwards.

As an omni-roast you can drink this coffee as a deep sweet filter coffee or delicious espresso. As a coffee expert I was really surprised by the quality of this decaffeinated coffee. You have to taste this!

Very tasty decaf!

We are currently tasting the Deca Brasil.
I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious coffee taste. We recently bought a bean machine and are still testing it. So far we think this coffee is definitely the best! El Dragon is next. I am already very curious!
