The story

Ten farmers from a poorly managed cooperative decided to come together and free themselves from the stifling rules, bureaucracy and high costs imposed by a huge cooperative. After years of quality improvements and support of the "Four Seasons Project", they are now exporting their coffee for the first time.

Our partner This Side Up Coffees felt compelled to support this courageous step: to move away from the cooperative and sell the farmers' coffee directly. They started small, with ten serious and dedicated farmers.

And with success, they hope that more and more members will join this inspiring journey.

Heerlijk die Brasil Jeronimo !

Blijft op een positieve manier hangen. Heerlijke smaak.

Heerlijk fruitige espresso

De eerste keer een nieuwe koffie uitproberen blijft toch altijd weer leuk. Zo ook met deze heerlijke koffiebonen.
Heel bijzondere smaak en een ideale verhouding van het donkere, chocolade met het zoete van een blauwe bes. Een heel klein tikkeltje zuur als nasmaak, maar dat is echt minimaal. Kortom, echt een bijzondere koffie om te drinken.

Voor de Sage Barista Express had ik de maalgraad op 7 staan, een stuk grover dan ik gewend ben. De meeste bonen maal ik op maalgraad 4 of 5, maar toch doet dit niet af aan de koffie zelf.

Deze koffie moet je proberen als je een echte zomer special wilt drinken!
